Rebecca Leaders MS, LMFT
Rebecca is a MN Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and MN board approved LMFT and LPC/LPCC supervisor. She has worked in the mental health field for over 14 years, gaining experience and advanced training in crisis, trauma and posttraumatic stress disorder, veteran and/or military personnel and their families, personality disorders, conduct and oppositional disorders, attachment issues, LGBTQIIA+, along with relational issues within individual, couple, or family systems. She is certified in DBT, CBT, REBT, Suicide Risk assessments, and Diagnostic Assessments 0-5 years (DC 0-5), and as an Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist (ASDCS). She utilizes a systemic perspective to strengthen practices using a person and family- centered, solution focused and relational approaches to assist individuals to meet their therapeutic goals.
Rebecca enjoys working with all ages, from zero and above for individual, couple and family therapies via telehealth and in-person options.
Kendall Vaughn, BS, MHP-CT
Kendall is a Graduate level Clinical Trainee earning her Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy through Capella University. She graduated with her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, and a minor in Sociology from North Texas University. She is passionate about helping others in any capacity, her strength is her ability to connect with others, to “help them feel heard”. She has significant experience working with children in many different settings, specifically working with the Autism Response Team as a Registered Behavior Technician, assisting with cognitive development, skill-building, behavioral supports and collaborative treatment planning. She is versed in Complex Trauma, Neurodiversity, and is LGBTQQIA+ Affirming.
Kendall provides Solution-Focused, Trauma-Informed telehealth therapy for individuals, couples and families of all ages. She currently resides in Texas, with her husband and their four-legged love, an English bulldog named Georgia. Her personality is a joy to have on our team, her expertise and drive to assist others in need an asset to Sunrise Counseling Center!
